NJAA Charitable Fund Offers Four $1,500 Scholarship Grants

The New Jersey Apartment Association Charitable Fund (NJAA Charitable Fund) is accepting applications for $6K in scholarships for undergraduate education. Up to two $1,500 scholarships will be awarded to NJAA employees, members, or dependents, and up to two $1,500 scholarships will be awarded to residents of NJAA member properties.
“The NJAA Charitable Fund Scholarship money helped my son, Nicholas, study Music Business at one of the top schools in the industry," said Sue D’Angiolillo, NJAA member since 1997 whose son was a 2004 scholarship recipient. “With NJAA’s help, we were able to see him graduate college and land his dream job.”
“Education is a key mission of the New Jersey Apartment Association,” said Jean Maddalon, executive director of the NJAA. “We are thrilled to take it a step farther by offering scholarships to our members and residents, and helping them to fulfill their dreams of higher education.”
2012 is the eighth year that the NJAA Charitable Fund has been awarding scholarships to the NJAA community. To date they have granted $37.5K to support the educational goals of 24 individuals.
All applications received by February 20, 2012 will be considered and grants will be awarded for the 2012-13 academic year. Click here to view the application and guidelines. Scholarship recipients will be evaluated by Scholarship Management Services, a third-party company not affiliated with the NJAA or the NJAA Charitable Fund.
