Function: Handle leasing, marketing, customer service and administrative responsibilities at a property in Essex County, NJ.

Handle leasing, outreach, prospecting and lead generation including greeting prospective residents, setting appointments, showing apartments, following up, and processing applications
Conduct marketing surveys of other communities and make recommendations based on analysis of reports
Coordinate with the maintenance department to handle apartment turnovers, move-ins and move-outs, making sure vacant apartments are ready, and work orders are processed promptly
Update and process lease renewals
Assist with resident concerns or related activities
Prepare move-in packages, conduct move-in inspections, making the new residents feel welcome
Handle administrative functions to include clerical and reception responsibilities, and light bookkeeping

Intermediate or better proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel) and any Property Management software; Yardi preferred
Strong written & verbal communication skills, as well as professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines while successfully handling multiple tasks
Ability to follow-up and follow-through
Proven ability in providing exceptional customer service/resident relations
Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations/guidelines
Must have a NJ Real Estate License OR must be willing to obtain one immediately after being hired
Ability to work weekends and flexible hours

Salary: $38,000.00 to $43,000.00 /year
