Professional Bio
Alex Jackiw is Chief Operating Officer at HGPS, overseeing corporate and property operations and guiding the company’s long-term growth. She has extensive experience managing LIHTC, HUD, student housing, conventional market-rate, and senior living communities, and has held executive roles in both privately held and publicly traded real estate firms.
A longtime leader in the multifamily housing industry, Alex served as Chairman of the National Apartment Association (NAA) and President of the NAA Education Institute. She helped rewrite the CAM and CAPS designation programs, co-authored the Multifamily Housing Industry textbook, and regularly speaks at industry events across the U.S. and Canada.
Alex is a licensed real estate broker, holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM®) and Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) designations, and has been recognized by NAAEI, Real Estate Forum, and the Institute of Real Estate Management for her leadership and contributions to the industry. She is a graduate of the University of Rochester and earned her M.Ed. from Ohio University.
