Course Overview

The Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) is designed to teach property managers to become vital links between the apartment community, owners, and staff, providing high-quality training to help you improve your company’s bottom line.

In this live instructor-led format, students will have the ability to engage with the instructor during class and collaborate with their classmates inside and outside of the virtual classroom. Combined with virtual activities and group homework outside of class, this exclusive training will give attendees real-world scenarios along with a thorough review of all aspects of the Certified Apartment Manager position.

ABOUT THE CAM EXAM

The CAM exam is a 1-part exam delivered via Live Online Proctoring (LOP) which can be done from the comfort of your home or office. LOP requires a webcam and audio capability for your computer, and must be scheduled four (4) days in advance according to proctor availability. The CAM exam is 4 hours in total and is 185 questions. There are no breaks during the exam, but you can excuse yourself to go to the rest room or get a drink of water. However, the clock does NOT stop. Please, note: if you do not pass the exam, there will be a retake fee of $100. Additionally, if you require special accommodations, please call NAAEI at (703) 797-0611 ahead of time.
